The Himba Tribe (& Shadow Shot Sunday)
I really like this photo. I'm not sure why. Maybe because of its beauty in its simplicity.
I took this photo last year when we visited the Himba Tribe people in Namibia. It was a thoroughly interesting visit to meet this group of nomadic people and learn about their life and traditions.
But at the same time it made me think more about the impact this modern world is having on traditions - theirs, mine, yours, ours. Is it for the better or worse and do we really have a choice?

Introducing PPAccessories!
I have been dilemmaring for ages as to whether to open a second store for my earrings and I have finally taken the plunge and opened up PPAccessories. I thought this would be a good time as I'm still trying to reduce all my stock before we move!

This is simple and sweet. The chain is 19" with a lobster claw clasp. The pendant is the totally sweet part about it. It looks almost like a ring with faux diamond chips around the band coming to a little heart which has a larger faux diamond on top of the heart. CONDITION: EXCELLENT

Sparkles perfectly and has never been worn or taken out for the box (only today to measure the cord)!

Jewellery Part II - For Sale [SOLD]

Acqua Necklace - There are 5 strands to this pretty but simple aqua necklace. It is elastic so can fit over your head and will sit just around your nec. Great for everyday wear and has a litle sparkle to it. CONDITION - EXCELLENT
Green Bracelet - There are 5 strands to this bracelet. A combination of seed and bugle beads joined together by a larger green bead. This one is also elastice. CONDITION - GOOD (the elastic is getting a little worn in this one so it is not as tight as it once was)

New Pieces (& Shadow Shot Sunday)
I've been a bit distracted with clearing my house and listing some items on this blog for my 'Blog Sale' that i've neglected letting you all know whats new in my shop the past week or so!
The first thing are these great little notebooks that have a front over of some of my photos! They're great if you like my photos but just don't have any room to display them on your wall. With lined white pages you could use it take notes in class, jot down some of your creative thoughts, write reciepes or use as a travel/every day journal. Really the possibilities are endless!! I only got 2 made up at first to see whether there is much interest and i'm glad to say one has already sold!! YAY! The yellow one is still available and can be purchased here.

Jewellery Part I - For Sale [SOLD]

The next few posts of my blog sale are gonna be my bits and pieces of jewellery for sale. I seem to accumulate lots of jewellery but am a bit lazy and never actually wear any of them! So most of these ones I've listed have been only once or not at all!
These pieces weren't made by me and were shop bought so I can't list them in my etsy shop. I thought I could "dismantle" them and use them as beads for my own jewellery making but I think they look so nice as they are it's better to keep them intact and hope some others can enjoy them instead.

1. Paris Flowers
I bought this pretty girly necklace in Paris. It has pink butterflies, leaves, flowers and little coloured stones to make it seem almost fairy tale like. Colours such as pinks, greens, blues, purples and yellows. It is a bronze coloured chain with lobster claw clasp. Approx 13" chain with addition 2" of chain for fastening. CONDITION: EXCELLENT

3. Edwardian Purple
For some reason this one remind me of Edwardian times! It is a double layer bronze/copper coloured chain with purple and white pearls (they look faux pearls to me) and purple bicone beads. The inside layer ends with with a 2" cluster of beads. Approx 22" chain with 2" of chain for fastening. Lobster claw clasp. CONDITION: EXCELLENT

Cutie Pie Pink Kitty Radio - For Sale! [SOLD]

I bought this kitty in Oslo, Norway. It is actually a little radio disguised as a an uber cute pink pussy cat! I thought she was so cute. I didn't really have any use for her but somehow managed to convince myself (and hubby) that I would use here while in the shower! That lasted about 2 showers as I kept forgetting to turn her on. She then moved into my husbands office for a little bit - I thought he could use her while writing his notes...but a little pink pussy cat doesn't really sit well in a grown mans office....so poor old kitty spent the rest of her days as cute decoration on my bedroom windowsill.

Blog Garage/Yard Sale Poll!
As I start going through all my stuff to pack I realise I have a lot of stuff that we will probably either throw out or give to chartiy. Normally back home in Oz we have garage/yard sales to try and get rid of some of our stuff but being in London means we are in tiny flats and therefore no garage or yard - plus garage/yard sale just don't seem to be done here which is a bit sad as back home whenever we are driving somewhere and see a sign for a garage sale i have to pull over and stop by - i love checking them out and hope to find some great finds!
Anyways I am getting way off track here. What I really wanted to know was whether if I put things up here on my blog whether any of you would be interested to see what I have and would you even consider buying from a blog (via paypal i guess). I can't list them on etsy as they are not handmade - mostly I have clothes that i've hardly ever worn (i am a terrible shop-a-holic!), jewellery, books and little knick knack gadets. I have other things but as I am in the UK those ones might be a bit big/heavy to ship to overseas - ofcourse if you are in the UK that's another matter altogether!

BOGOF Moving Sale!
I know i'm going home soon but its just hit me that we are really really leaving in just 1.5months time!
YIKES!! There is so much to do!! The most nightmarish of them all is packing, boxing and shipping all our stuff back home. I keep putting it off but i really need to get it sorted.
