Shenandoah and The Great Smoky Mountains were the very first National Parks we visited in The States. It was green, lush and beautiful. Unfortunately I had grossly underestimated our driving times as I didn't realise that the scenic drive was so windy!! With scenes like that it must have been an amazing road trip!
I SO want to go there based on your pics alone. Where is it located?
Hi shannon! It's on the east side of america - Shenandoah is in Virginia and it becomes The Smokies which is in tennesse and nth carolina! It is huge, beautiful with lots of wondeful walking tracks! You should def go - i think it is meant to be even prettier in autumn (fall) when the leaves have changed colour.
Beautiful, beautiful pictures..There is so much beauty on this earth and you sure did capture some of it..Thanks..
My parents drove us down there when I was about 7 or 8 years old. It is such a beautiful place. Thanks for bringing me back!
You've got a great eye for beauty! Nice shots! :)
WoW! Absolutely beautiful! I'd love to take my husband to the Smokey Mountains sometime.
