Shenandoah & Great Smoky Mountains

Shenandoah and The Great Smoky Mountains were the very first National Parks we visited in The States. It was green, lush and beautiful. Unfortunately I had grossly underestimated our driving times as I didn't realise that the scenic drive was so windy!! Never mind we just extended our time there by a couple more days (ahhh, the beauty of road trips!)

This is just a little bit of what these beautiful parks had to offer of us:

Hi shannon! It's on the east side of america - Shenandoah is in Virginia and it becomes The Smokies which is in tennesse and nth carolina! It is huge, beautiful with lots of wondeful walking tracks! You should def go - i think it is meant to be even prettier in autumn (fall) when the leaves have changed colour.

My parents drove us down there when I was about 7 or 8 years old. It is such a beautiful place. Thanks for bringing me back!
