Shadow Shot Sunday!

As lots of people mentioned my hot air balloon shot in the previous post was actually a shadow shot too!! But as it's in landscape and the shadow is in the corner not sure how that will fit in with HeyHarriets collages so i've gone ahead and included another shadow shot for this Sunday.

This one was taken at the Colosseum in Rome. Of course on our return we had to go and watch Gladiator!

This is a fabulous shadow shot. The shadow is almost inverse, with the sunny area almost having the shadow shape. Anyway, I love this photo. Well done. And the rocks below are amazing!

Incredible pool of light! It is as if the light is cast onto the huge shadow! Great shot!

What a beautiful picture..Like the balloon shots too..When ever I see the balloons in the air, they fascinate me..but I am frightened of heights, so I am happy looking up..

You brought back such happy memories of our time in Rome - thank you for that. I hope you enjoyed Gladiator. My brother taught Russell Crowe at high school in Sydney many years ago and when the movie first came out, he was hounded by the press for Russell At School stories. A network in the US even sent out a crew to interview him. He found it all a little crazy!

Kat took the words right out of my mouth. It does look like a flashlight beam.

I love the contrast of the sharp angle meeting the curve in both light and shadow. Fantastic shot!
